Medium rub. Earthy, bramble, raspberry. Warm spices Decent acidity, medium fine tannins, medium body. Lively. Very enjoyable. Went well with a lamb tagine.

Medium ruby showing no ageing at the moment. Wild strawberry, earthy, bramble, violet, raspberry, black plum. Cinnamon on palate. Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Crunchy, electric, surprisingly earthy and enjoyable. Will improve.

Had side by side with 2019 Daniel Bouland Les Delys Morgon, which was preferred by all. This one had strong aromas of garlic bagel (which was mostly just weird). Taste was dark fruits, a bit of earth, and a lot of spice on the finish. Possibly this is still too young, but tannins we very noticeable and it just seemed a bit weird and out of balance overall. Probably won’t buy again, but I’ve got some 2018 still, which I’ll try just to make sure.

This wine is punching well above its weight now. We decanted and enjoyed a bottle last night with boeuf bourgignon, and we were delighted with its power, flavor and balance. A true superstar, and one of the greatest bargains in the world of red wine.
