Paired this with Peking Duck. First whiffs out of the bottle has a touch of funk, then black olives in brine. After an hour it smelled like cherry cola and blueberries. It tasted sublime, initially it was a touch closed but with air it had black cherry, strawberry, blueberry at various stages, with a touch of bret funk. Silky tannins, excellent finish. Worked perfectly with the duck.

Brought to Sunday Family Dinner. Great pairing with steak and garlic roasted potatoes. Full of sweet fruit and black pepper, hints of barnyard, and lots of espresso and chocolate. Great wine that was ready to go after a bit of air. Drink now - 2032.

Some smoky bacon fat on the nose. Savory red berry fruit. Classic rocks notes. Olive tapenade. Nice balance.
