  Black raspberry, boysenberry, Asian five spice, white pepper, toasted oak. Medium-full body. Medium acidity & tannins. Medium-long finish. Still on the early end of its drinking window.

  Color - Dark Garnet to purple
  Nose - Raspberries, Boysenberries, Medium Fruit
  Palate - When first opened medium to light fruit then as opened up a harsh bitter bite began to intensify in the finish which covered up any fruit that might have been there and got worse as dinner progressed. Started out with promise but deteriorated as the meal went on. 24 Hours later the bitterness had pretty much dissipated and the palate showed fruit forwardness and was Zin typical BUT the nose had faded drastically. If the original Nose and the later palate had occurred at the same time the score would have been 88 to 89.
