  • [Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes. Decanted for 3-4 hours. I was slightly disappointed with this bottle. It was various shades of lemon and lime, hint of smoke, but missing more complexity at this stage. High acidity, medium+ finish. 90-91 now, upside with more time

  • PnP, 13% Alc., high end natural cork, yellow color with no bubbles.

Nose: Very nice, yellow fruit and salty minerality.

Palate: Decent wine, very well done. Due to the vintage you notice a certain heaviness, subtle acidification, also bitterness possibly from the seeds. Nevertheless, very good balance with structure, undeniable this wine has quality with a very nice mineral saltiness on the finish.

For a higher score the wine needs more precision, complexity and depth. With optimism it can achieve it in a view years, 92-93.

  • Blind. Palest straw. Nose screams Riesling, all Vaseline and kerosine. Fresh and quite young but very elegant and harmonious, lighter and fresher (without overt acidity) than the nose suggests. Alsace or German GG? Maybe Austria. Doesn’t seem as alcoholic as one might have expected. Lots here, and lovely. ****
