This is great value for the money! If you like the typical left bank aromas of green/red pepper, cigar box, wet earth and wood, you have to get this wine into your cellar. Of course, 1993 is a weak vintage, but if you're searching for classical Bdx-freshness, you will find it here. No need to rush, it's going to be a pleasure for the next 5-10 years. If you look for those attributes combined with pressure and volume you have to get the 1990 P.L., which is steps above! 91+ pts for this fresh typical Cab-dominated Margaux.

Fine Wines SG - 90s Tuscany vs The World (Fine Wines SG): Between garnet and ruby. A more pronounced nose with aromas of tar, cherry, graphite, fern. High tannins, but pretty balanced with a good acid. A fairly long finish. Nice

Missing a bit the conviction I recognized in the Batailley '93, however finishhing with good bitters.

Marvellous! All very smooth and silky. A bit of fruit, but more on the tertiaries as coffee, cocoa, leather. Tannins fully resolved.
