Drank yesterday with xmas dinner. I've had this wine many times and my notes are consistent. Pale color, generous aromas of white flowers and apple. Light to medium body, crisp acidity with a touch of minerality, good fruit level--lime, citrus, and stone fruit. Love the freshness of this wine.

Nose is rich but has that uniquely Italian note on the nose. Palate is rich but high acidity keeps it focused on the ripe apple fruit notes. Long finish brings it home . Would buy again .

Drank at Copake last nite with pasta dinner. I've had this wine many times and my notes are consistent. Pale color, generous aromas of white flowers and apple. Medium body, crisp acidity with a touch of minerality, good fruit level--lime citrus, and stone fruit. Noticed a bit more sweetness this time around (from the picolit grape that's always in the mix). Clean and fresh. Enjoyable as always.

Drank at RB with Gilles. Pale color, aromas of white flowers and apple. Medium body, crisp acidity, good fruit level--lime citrus, and stone fruit. Medium finish. Just a tad of sweetness, as always. Clean and fresh. Lovely go-to wine that is always enjoyable. Just wish it weren't as pricey as it is.

I had resisted this wine for a while owing to descriptions I’ve read of it being overly large and ripe. It is not. Or rather, the ripeness is perfectly balanced with good acidity and modest (13.5) alcohol and a sneaky minerality. The aroma is just so luscious. Tropical fruits, but not the pineapple of blowsy chard, rather guava, papaya even, bit of soursop and mamey? Sure. All of the above dance on the tongue and lead to a quenching but complex finish, dare I say burgundian in texture. Even better on day two. Throughout, it is stalwartly Fruilian, hint of that green almond thing coming thru but also just vibes of the Colli. An experience.
