This wine has a strong bready nose with an interesting underlying note of blue cheese rind. On the palate, it is rich and dense with ripe yellow fruit, grilled lemon and mushroom. As it warmed, the cheese rind note disappeared, so I'd suggest keeping this cooled.

This was good but not as good as I thought it should be. Bready with good complexity and most of the group loved this but I just felt that it wasn't in my wheelhouse. I really didn't get much citrus or fruit.

Beautiful dark golden color. Bready, toasty nose, baked apples, some wood; mature yellow fruit on the full bodied, very rich palate, excellent intensity, slight bitterness on the medium+ finish along chalk and limestone notes. Lovely. 18/20

We all felt this wine was holding up, but no need to wait on this one; It had some brioche and a touch of lemon custard; If you like your wines at this stage then you may feel different, however I like mine to have some freshess; This one is already into the very dry, flat stage of it's development.
