Super expressive nose, even at cellar temperature. A bit alcoholic tasting but with chocolate and green vegetable flavors to go along with tart strawberry and blackberry. On another night could have been 90+.

Lighter than I would expect for a cab-merlot blend. Possibly a victim of the lackluster '03 season. Starts out nice - I get some raspberry and cedar box but thin in the midpalate and the finish is a somewhat short and unbalanced. Works as a food wine, but not the heavy fruit bomb you might be looking for.

Cellartracker Over the Hill and In the Woods Party (Judith's House): Very dark red color. Nose is herbal, red fruits, sweet, earth, a bit hot. Palate is red fruit, herbs, alcohol.

Nickel-plated grapes, shiny-smooth, hard at the finish. Elegant and complex, cherry and blueberries; merlot-sweet, cabernet-dry, malbec-black.

Okay. Nothing special. Seemed to need a little more fruit. Wouldn't buy it again.
