Serious Barolo. Strawberries, roses. And tannins. Feminine vs masculine. Everything's there. Delightful.
From the Arborina Vineyard. Why the hell they call this La Foia instead of the great vineyard name is a real mystery. I had no idea of that when I bought this, I figured it was a commune wine. Definitely not. It's much better.
Delicious juice.

Delivered on every level. For two days. Second day with charred t-bones. We don’t deserve Barolo.

With an earthy woodiness on the nose. Fresher on the palate. Probably on day two.

La Foia means 'The Leaf'. Dark cherry, truffles, earth, roses, tar, dry, big, gorgeous example.

Cinnamon and sweetness, soft mid and then grip. Kinda over at $65 but this is just a taste. Maybe just needs time.
