A child drew the label. And that actually is fresh. For them Carignan is the best grape to reveal the soil. Grapey and richly fruit on the front palate but then with structure on the back. ANd good stuff too.

Some earthiness, touch of old wood on the nose, and dark fruit, carbonic, native yeast, then fermented and aged in cement. So that note about old wood on the nose is wrong. Its just the carignan showing off. Palate is fresh and mineral and really quite tasty. Working towards organic. Tasty at $15 or so. The estate's forte is supposedly carignan which drives their passion and their work. The son designed the label. The name means "the wine of the little child of the little child hippolyte" or something like that. A playful wine.

Spicy, barnyard, but restrained under under-ripe raspberry fruit, mostly carignan with touches of Grenache and Carignan. With a flsuh full mid palate.

Has that strong streak of Carignan's minerality. And a full palate with a tight back end. Elmo's world playful label.
