Decent enough wine, wrong price. With its froth and musk, inescapably cava - just a slightly polished, cleaner version of same. Nice musky citrusy apple, nice bit of zesty-bitter bready bits. I like the lower alcohol, too (11.5). But not enough here to justify the price premium.

More expressive than many Grand Reservas. Med+ intensity of toast, biscuit, pastry, lemon, cooked apple, bruised apple. Dry, high acid, med+ intensity, med+ finish. Notes of Honey, toast, pastry, brioche, baked apple. Pretty darn good for ~10 euro

Its a clear sparkling wine with pale intensity and lemon-green color. The bubbles are small.
On the nose its clean with medium intensity. Primary aromas of fruit. Lemon peel, red apple, grapefruit. Secondary aromas of yeast, brioche and lees. The wine is youthful.
On the palate its dry with a crisp medium plus acidity. Medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus flavor intensity. Fruity primary flavors of lemon, red apple, grapefruit and stone fruit. Secondary autolytic flavors of yeast toast and lees.
The mousse is creamy and the finish is of medium plus length.
The quality of the wine is very good. Its a benchmark wine for a Cava brut reserva made with the traditional grapes of Penedes. Old vines.
Drink now, not suitable for ageing but will keep for 5 years. Recently degorged (09-2015) 1 month before i tried it.
Mid priced
