PNP, drank from Zalto champagne glass. This evolved quickly and was a joy to drink pretty much right out of the gates. Broad spectrum of aromas, from bright lemon, to fresh quince and quince paste, almonds, marzipan, and so many rich aromas of brown butter and brioche. A real lactic backbone here, quite leesy but in a very enjoyable way, which eventually gave way to some cheesy Camembert notes. Can see this evolving beautifully for many years to come.

High end Champagne 2012 vs 2013, tasted blind (Bad Ragaz): 7.5g dosage. Light yellow. Rich, ripe, generous, good acidity, yellow fruit and white flowers. Generous dosage. Intense, pine apple. Good but not among the best, I liked the Bereche/Egly flight better.
Concentration from fresh, juicy orchard fruits is contrasted by a racy, laser focused acidity in this elegantly composed wine. Crushed rock minerality, zesty lime cream and sprinkle of salt add visceral intensity.
The finish is very long and complex - juicy red apple sweetness, tart green apple freshness, smokey brioche and tangerine peel bitterness dance on the palate minutes after swallowing.
Drinking beautifully out of the bottle right now - all the intensity you'd love in a young champagne presented in a package immediately enjoyable on opening. The drinkability doesn't feel like its coming at the price of future upside either (like a 09). Evolution in glass was promising and this bottle had many more subtleties and tricks to show the more time you spent with it.
Especially given this bottle was served with a lot of other finicky, temperamental divas, I really appreciated how warm and easy going this wine was out of the gate. Truly the Keanu Reeves of wines.

Krug Lover Dinner with Olivier Krug (Daniel Dal Ban 1876 (Tafelspitz) Düsseldorf): not blind
After all the Krugs it was a bit lost and shy but a very precise and filigree champagne. 95
