Aging nicely. Tannins and oak are well integrated. Dark fruit mixed with dark roasted coffee (giving this a slight burnt taste). Nice mouthfeel. Only real complaint is that the finish is pretty short.

Capitol Swills Blind Tasting PNW Red Single Varietals (The Lovenest, Seattle, WA): Bottle may have had light TCA taint, but it blew off after a little while, would be curious to try another bottle to compare as this was our first one. Slight wet money on the nose initially, meaty and green pepper on the palate, medium bodied and solid structure. Black fruit was initially muted but opened up after the mustiness blew off. Curious one for sure, so I'm not scoring.

Flavorful full fruit with a hint of leather. Mouth feel had nice body. No tannin heat at all. Was wonderful!

Blue notes on the nose, red cherries, nice tannins, good acid. Abrupt finish but not disappointing. Hotter than you might think. Really enjoyable.
