  Popped and poured with KP at my boat club. It seemed over the hill when I first opened it. Too musty and pruny. So I opened the 2005 Starry Night Montafi Zin. A few hours later, I gave a taste to another friend. He liked it, so I tried it again. It had opened up and was now potable.
  
  4 hours later, the nose is still funky. Almost has a fruity petrol nose. Somewhat astringent flavor. Has notes of fruit. Wine keeps changing. Might use this wine for cooking now.
