Opened and imbibed with pizzas. Dark red, throwing lots of sediment. Full bodied, round and somewhat flabby. Deep dark fruit profile of mature blackberry, raspberry, fermenting blueberries. Slightly hot. Licorice notes. Good fruit concentration still, with some tannin resolving on the back end. Purchased from the tasting room at Dry Creek in Sonoma on our last trip out. Good Drink. It's interesting that there are so few notes or bottles of this in the community....perhaps it was a limited bottling or trial run. By day three under vac u vin, this had vinegarized and was nearly undrinkable.
