Minty sweet nose. Dense with good fruit and a lot of secondary astringent notes. Nice complexity now, but judging from earlier DC meritages I’ve had, I think it will keep quite a bit longer.

This wine was a real surprise. It was tasted double blind with mostly California Cabernets. This wine is still a bit young, but is excellent in structure, intensity of flavors, with great aromatics. This was a crowd pleaser. Some liked it for current enjoyment, others think it could use a few more years in the bottle(with a good wine fridge unit).

This wine has a lot going for it, as far as my tastes go; being a longtime Seattle baseball fan it's named after my team; it's a Bordeaux blend from California, which I love; it's also from the unsung Dry Creek region (dry creek gets a lot of press for Zins, not typically the Cabs, Merlots, etc.). And the wine is yummy! Dark cherries, herbs, smooth and rich. Not as Big as I'd remembered when last I tasted this blend, but pretty nice for the price. Probably another 2 or 3 years of excellence, then things will mellow down. Still good.

Heavy Bordeaux funk on the nose with secondary notes on the palate. Beautiful stuff.

Four of us very much enjoyed this bottle. Drinking just fine, but no need to wait any longer. We will be seeking this out again!
