Really developing into a nice lush balanced wine. Still can probably age 2-3 more years. Detectable acidity is not in your face, and nice mellow tannins.

52% Cabernet Franc, 30%Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. Decanted and showing little sediment. Aromas give away the varietal make-up showing bay leaf, thyme and herbs, tobacco, bell pepper, black pepper, cherry, currant and cedar with hints of porcini and old leather. On the structured palate this shows great moderate-plus acid and moderate to moderate-plus tannins. Flavors of cherry, currant, herbs, pepper, coffee, earth, tobacco, leather and cedar. The finish is moderate and lingers with a savory tone

Big but round with good frame. Drank after 60 minute decant and another 30 minutes in bottle. A little red fruit, but deep and with good power. Good acidity for a New World wine. No hurry.

Still maturing....I would describe this one as a moody teenager at this point, but the fruit is there.
