  • Rose' wines are generally not a wine for me, however this Rose' surprised me. Luscious strawberry aroma which makes you think it's going to be a sweet wine. One taste, though, and you realize you've been fooled because this is a dry wine which is nicely balanced with acidity. Good fruit favors of strawberry and cherry. One of only two Rose' wines I have ever liked.

  • Curious to try this Zin-based rose and it didn't disappoint. The color is a richer, darker hue than many roses, a really beautiful shade. Faint cherry, strawberry and maybe a slight bit of watermelon Jolly Rancher on the nose, which deepened to stronger cherry and strawberry as it warmed towards room temperature. On entry, red cherry and cranberry, very tart and dry. Good acidity livens up the mid-palate and offsets the tart/tannic notes. More tannin on the finish gives it some length and some astringency which reduces slightly as it warms. An excellent and rather different take on rose, and if you serve it just lightly chilled it should reward you with an interesting experience. Drink 2011-2013.

  • Reasonably dry rose. Full of berry, cherry on the palate. For the price (~$14), quite excellent.
