A Good Tuesday, Vol. VII: Italians: B Mascarello, E Pepe, Occhipinti, Burlotto, Barisone, Molettieri...: Blind---beautiful. Soft. So much acid. Tastes younger than it's age. Light but powerful. Red fruit that is savory and silky. Delish. A revelation.

Medium garnet. Decanted 10 hours, absolutely fresh fruity and harmonious, lacking only in power. Delicious with chicken liver mushroom pasta.

From memory. Decanted 2 hours, slightly ttawny pale garnet. Shy, clean light dry flowers and red fruit nose, fresh fruity middle palate with soft edges, medium finish. In comparison to the many more northern Piemonte nebbiolos I have been tasting, this wine had more body, less acid, and more robust tannins, but very much fit in. Enjoyed with seared sous vide sirloin and chanterelle sauce.
