absolutely delicious right now, small dark crunchy berries, a very fresh and invigorating herbal streak. olive and roasted meat notes pointed me to a high percentage of Syrah in this bottling. this was drinking absolutely great. I don't see much improvement unless you prefer a tertiary dominated wine, but I also don't see a decline in the near future.
tannins nicely integrated and at 14.5% abc the alcohol was completely integrated and was not noticeable.

Could tell the more pronounced, higher percentage of Syrah in this bottling. Would have been tempted to say Northern Rhône in a blind tasting. Good for the price point for some, but nowhere near the complexity of some of the cheaper 2009 and 2010 blends from Languedoc-Roussillon that I have had recently.

Fruit-forward with an odd sourdough bread outlier. Full of brown sugar and roasted red fruit.

A mature wine. Eucalyptus, leather, tobacco, pepper. Drink.
