Really tasty stuff for the money. Think this is entering its drinking window. Cali cab all the way, no doubt, with big fruit, but very good balance, and decent structure.

(Dry Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Vintner's Selection Dry Creek Valley) Very dark red violet color; menthol, dusty earth, tart currant, tart plum nose; tart currant, menthol, dusty earth, mocha, tart plum, herbs palate; needs 3-plus years; medium-plus finish (characterful Cabernet for only about $22; 14.5% alcohol)

Not bad for an inexpensive wine. No tannins, but still has a nice smooth finish.

A nice complex Cab that is a great value at about $16. Certainly a main stay for a week day Cab.

Lovely, dusty, elegant and rich with deep flavours of spice, leather, chocolate, tobacco and earth. Short on the finish but very pleasant nonetheless.

Nice deep fruit tones in the nose. Good color. Nice tannins and tastes of dark fruits, currant, hints of leather and earth with a short finish.
