The wine looks greenish yellow, with aromas of grapefruit, pear, and floral notes. On the palate it's quite dry, acidic, with more grapefruit, citrus pith, and pear. Light-bodied. Perhaps it's got a too much age on it, but it seems very awkward to me, the acidity is very sharp, the fruitiness is there too, but they're not well integrated. No signs of oak. No mistaking this for anything other than a sav blanc, but it's not doing a lot for me. (And I'm usually a fan of Dry Creek Vineyard's Fume Blanc, so this single vineyard expression is a little disappointing.) Drink a year ago, or now.
