Burgundy Revisited (Chez Shama): Well, it's not completely shot but it's not showing particularly well. Slightly tart red fruit, but wih air, it's corked.

Bobby's Birthday Bash (28-50): Ruby to mid garnet. Seems a little closed on the nose initially but opens up to a slightly caramel, spice, leather and 'burgundy' nose. Not the freshest or the greatest but once it's been cooled down a bit this is perfectly drinkable and pleasant. On the downslope but ok. Very fine sediment haze throughout. ***

Tight, elegant and unyielding at first. Only mid-weight but blossomed in the glass and had the most wonderful floral aroma.
