Dense semi-opaque dark garnet slight rim variation slow medium tears, bright. Aromatics clean, stewed red fruits, leather subtle. Medium body, tannin +, and acidity...slightly drying. Its a fine table wine in good condition with balance and agreeable personality.

Special bordeaux blend from the heart of Tuscany. 1997 is a reference vintage for the whole area so i was quite curious.
Double decanting over three hours. Served at 19° C.
Color: Ruby red, quite dense, first hint of an orangish-red rim, medium legs Nose: Opening with intense overmature black cherries, wet leather, mediterranean spices, liquorice - evolving along the whole night, showing more and more tertiary notes. Medium to long finish. Mouth: intense and velvety touch, low acidity, almost no tannins left, a distinct mineral note working as the backbone.
Lovely wine, an historical bordeaux blend which matured well. For my taste I wouldn'0t have left a day more as the downhill is beginning.

Opened and slow O’d for about 2 hours. Great old world, almost Bordeaux like nose with sweet berries, pencil lead and earthy notes. Med. bodied palate with black cherry and spice. Still has some acidity and tannin left, but not sure how much longer the fruit will last. Tasty now, drink.

Well coloured, graduated to rim; an austerity present, but shows breed, pauillac like; crisp fruit, youthful, sleek; stylish wine needing time ( to fill out?). 16
