  Pale ruby. On the nose medium intensity red candied cherries, red currant, strawberry, raspberry, toast. On the palate the wine is dry with high acidity, medium chalky tannins, medium alcohol and medium body. The flavor intensity is medium plus with red cherry, redcurrant, strawberry, raspberry, toast. There is a fresh bright feel to the palate. The finish is medium. The wine is a simple, balanced wine without the usual complexity and interest of a Burgundian PN.

I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.
