  • Unlike other Margaret River cabernets I’ve tasted. Big and ripe, while maintaining good acidity. Exceptional.

  • Deep colour, loaded with fruit and enjoyably elegant. Lovely ripeness, full, fleshy and fresh. I'm sure this will keep but it is already drinking ewell to my palate. 2nd day the aromas were a bit volatile and perhaps the alcohol showing a bit.

  • Good wine but found it just a bit boring, couldn’t get any real excitement. Well balanced with luscious fruit, gravelly tannins and a medium finish. Has all the hallmarks of nice Cabernet (blackberry, olive tapenade and hints of cedar) but perhaps just completely closed right now, thought it would give a bit more. Not sure if it just needs more time or just is what it is and won’t improve.

  • Deep ruby in colour, the lifted aromas are pure and fresh with clean notes of herb, iris and black currant. A touch of mint, bay leaf and sage add intrigue, as does some spicy but measured oak.
Gorgeous entry, medium-bodied with a soft, smooth texture (has a sheen). There is a width to the mid-palate that displays sweet fruits, but this is tamed by bright, tingling acidity. The mid-palate is juicy and Eden with freshly picked blackcurrants with a few blackberries and blueberries thrown in. Reasonably complex, the wine exhibits layers of flavour and seamless tannin and yet has a fine-grained touch to support the structure. A long finish with spice and a minty farewell.,
A well-crafted wine, it is correct and beautifully framed but unwilling to let out all the secrets yet!

  • Dark inky purple. A bit restrained in the nose when opened but developed lovely dark fruit, blueberry aromas. Cedar, clove. Long palate, full mouth experience. Dark berry fruit, some slight bitter chocolate and coffee. Well balanced acid and tannin. A great drop.
