LINDEMANS COONAWARRA 2000 ST. GEORGE VINEYARD CABERNET SAUVIGNON
The Lindemans Coonawarra Trio is a culmination of over 150 years of winemaking experience and represents the very pinnace of Lindemans winemaking.

Individually, each wine is a distinguished eample of its style; collectively, they comprise a unique range ilustrating the potential of the Coonawarra wine region. The Lindemans Coonawarra St. George Vineyard Cabemet Sauvignon is sourced from 30 year old vines in the celebrated 12 hectare St. George Vineyard. This particularly low yielding vineyard located directly on the limestone spine of the Terra Rossa strip and produces a wine that is the very essence of Coonawarra. Intense, but balanced, with great potential to age and expressive of both varietal and vintage.

The 2000 Lindemans Coonawarra St. George Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an intense purple, red colour with crimson hues and a brooding nose of ripe blackcurrant fruit, tobacco characters and cinnamon oak.
The palate is full bodied, brimming cinnamon with rich, sweet fruit which is complemented by fine tannins an lingering oak flavours.

A true representation of the vintage, the 2000 Lindemans St George will be restrained in its youth, but has great potential and correctly cellared will age gracefully for cellann many years.
