This is a superb vineyard owned and farmed by Ann Kraemer. It sits high in the Sierras at elevations ranging from 1600 to 2000 feet. Farmed in steep volcanic soils to a level of perfection rarely seen.
The Syrah that comes off Shake Ridge resonates with a dark brooding character with resolved tannins.
