Wednesday, April 26, 2017 - The bouquet is still pretty faint and dominated by alcohol, but the palate is fresh and lively, precise and intense, not terribly complex but delicious, and the finish is long. Most of the tannin has integrated, and the tannin and acidity that remain both balance the intense fruit and promise a long future. Nebbiolo simply tastes different, and in this one I picked up some cherries and a distant haunting trace of wax.
