Saturday, April 20, 2024 - 100 Valdiguie' f/k/a Napa Gamay, from the highlands of Paso Robles. Clear, med (-) ruby. Med+ strawberry, red cherry, blueberry, pink peppercorn, asian spice, w/ a bit of spice and vanilla from aging in neutral French oak. Dry, but w/ plenty of juicy fruit, med to med+ acidity, med to med(-) tannins and med alcohol (13.1%). Med body, med to med (+) flavor intensity. Quiet quaffable and also food-friendly. Drink now, now intended for aging.
