Friday, May 15, 2020 - Acquired on Auction: Clear semi-transparent garnet/rust color with slight bricking at rim. Intense nose, can smell outside the glass. Perfumed aromas of cedar, licorice, figs, and roses. A lot going on here with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium full with good acidity and still heavy tannins. Finish is long plum, cedar, and a bit hot. Quality wine with tread left on the tires. Try again in couple years.
