Sunday, May 8, 2022 - From the golden age of this label, the ‘88 is still in good shape. Blackcurrant fruit with tea leaf, cedar wood and vanilla elements, this St George is delicious. It presents like a ‘98 rather than an ‘88. Very impressive. An easy, long, balanced wine. Perhaps the sweetness is fading? Drink up, but enjoy every moment of this tobacco-like delight.
