Monday, March 17, 2014 - Blackcurrant, chocolate, plum, herbs, damp soil and some wet dark rocks. Great nose. Lots of energy on the palate with the same components. Also salty liquorice. A cool expression as the vintage keeps telling me and a nice acidity to even the balance. The tannins are fine and firm, present but not too strong. At the moment I prefer this with food, huge potential.
