Saturday, March 23, 2013 - Very precise blackberry fruit nose with a touch of wood that took time to develop. Rich entry of quite dark fruit. High acidity; tons of blackberry, leather, liquorice. A bit of black pepper coming at the end. Tannins powerful but quite fine. This is not exceedingly complex but very focused. Needs time obviously but decent now with a good decant.
