Thursday, June 30, 2022 - Either this is an off bottle, or it didn’t live up to the hype. There was plenty of red fruit, but the wine lacked in body. The first several hours also featured a prominent vanilla note. Later, the acidity seemed to take over.

    7/11/2022 10:11:00 PM - Barolo - Barbaresco is the one area whose wines wife and I will never agree upon. Her impression is almost always just like yours above. I've served her everything in various degrees of maturity. Skyrocketing me to the seventh heaven and her into Meh-land.

    If you want to spend lots of money, there are still some other B's to dig into: Burgundy, Bordeaux and Bhampagne ;-)
