Sunday, May 23, 2021 - Pop and pour, consumed over 4 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity, youthful aromas of black cherry, mint, florals - rose and violets, and nutmeg. Palate: Dry, high acid and tannin, high alcohol, medium+ intensity, flavors of tart cherry, cranberry, and spice with a long finish.
Outstanding wine just scratching the surface of it's potential at the moment. Great structure and complexity lurking beneath, extremely tight at the moment. Won't touch my other 2 for at least 5 years.
