91 Points

Wednesday, January 13, 2021 - AP#9. 9.5% alcohol. Yellow-green; intensely aromatic, apple, peach and nectarine, some ocean breeze; palate is medium bodied, a bit more rounded than expected, some fruit but shy, medium-minus acidity, balanced low alcohol; medium-minus finish. Hmm... this is really not quite what I expected on the palate. I expected a bit more vibrancy, delineation, and depth of fruit. Let's see if some decanting/air helps otherwise my other bottles will get at least a few years in the cellar. 90 for now.
2 hours decanted: Definitely fleshing out a bit more on the palate with better acidity and more delineated fruit. I think this needs a lot of air and time. 91+
8 hours decanted: not really much improved from earlier. This is good, but I expect better than good from Prum. Not as vibrant and expressive as the 2015 on release.
Day 2: largely the same. My remaining bottles are going to be tucked away for a while.
