Sunday, December 27, 2020 - On the edge to 92. Nice perfume with raspberries and cherries dominating. At first also something green vegetal notes which seem to fade out in a couple of hours. Leather is present but dont get much of the tobacco like many people seem to do here. Taste is really nice, medium body, acidity in perfect balance, tannins are silky. Taste is long and finishes with some beautiful nutty almondy oaky touch. My opinion is that taste is a bit better than smell for this one. This is a really nice and complex wine, worth the money by far!

12/31/2020 12:34:00 AM - Thank you for sharing your note. I fully agree, the Produttori got everything right in 2016 and the wine provide amazing value for money. I find it very hard to keep my hands of my bottles. Another terrific yet affordable option is Trediberri Barolo 2016, equally beautiful at this early stage. I am switching between the two, so some of my bottles may have a chance to survive their early fruit phase...
