Sunday, August 30, 2020 - Dinner at Il Gabbiano watching the boats swarm by. This is a stunning summer wine! Ruby colored with an effusive bouquet of strawberries, menthol and some earth. The palate has nice yet firm tannins with red fruit and a soft medium finish. This wine is light on the body yet plenty fragrant, pretty much Burgundian in style but very smooth giving a sweet impression. At this price range need to stock up.
