Seemed surprisingly shut down after two nights in the fridge under vacuum seal. This was less accessible than a couple other barbarescos I've tried. Will reserve judgment, as I tend to drink older reds and don't have a lot of experience following wines from youth to maturity. For my palate, these need a lot more time.

3/30/2021 5:40:00 AM - @JC: Interesting. I am also drawn to (very) mature wines, but happend to pop two bottles of this wine upon release about a year ago - and they were pretty seductive. Looks like the wine is shutting down now and is indeed best allowed to rest. Thanks!
