Wednesday, July 15, 2020 - Fairly dark red. Great nose, quite intense, salty black cherry, warm earth and baking spices. Delicious salty warm black fruit and a long very tannic finish.

Best young PdB Torre I can remember. Seemed more like a Montestefano then the basic Barbaresco.

7/16/2020 4:06:00 PM - I enjoyed reading your TN! While I've never tasted one of this producer's Crus, I *have* > once read speculation about WHAT their '16s will be like! ;)

7/16/2020 7:44:00 PM - srh. It has been daunting to keep up with 10 Barbarescos coming every year. The ris.are a staple for us but only bought the Ovello in 2014. There are the 2015 and 2016 riservas coming and probably the 2017s.

7/17/2020 12:10:00 PM - TY for the addt'l feedback, David -- particularly as I had *no* idea they made THAT many riservas! As for the '15s, looks like there are just a handful of TNs here for but 4 of them so far, & none going back beyond May '20. So, guess it will still be a while 'fore we see the '16s, huh? ;)
