Thursday, April 30, 2020 - It is a great success this 2016. So young still but much better than the 2015. This one is much more on red fruit, licorice and roses. I found the 2015 much more rustic and lacked the fruit component. On the palate, the acidity and tanins are moderately strong. Needs time to open (decant for sure if opening now, I can't stress this enough). A very interesting length on the palate. A wine that has the stuffing to go the distance but which can also be opened in a few years because of its fruit in the foreground.

4/30/2020 12:15:00 PM - THANK you for your effort in posting this *comprehensive* TN! Though I've not tasted the '15, I'll take your word it's not on the '16's level, as, quite frankly, I suspect FEW *are*! ;)

As for decanting, based upon my experience of 2/15/20, as you stated above, "I can't stress this enough"! ;)
