Monday, October 28, 2019 - The nose was youthfully poised but also quite primary, showing mineral-infused sweet spice, with notes of tobacco, wild herbs and bright cherry. On the palate, I found velvety textures contrasted by vibrant acids, carrying densely packed red berry fruit, wrapped in a complex web of minerals and spice, with fine tannin mounting with each sip. The finish was long and structured, even as vibrant acids made the mouth water, with tart cherries, saline-minerals and sweet herbs resonating throughout.
