Friday, October 11, 2019 - A bright ruby red color. Nose of cranberry, red cherry along with rose petals and cedar. A more classic vintage than the 2015. Less ripe and confected, more serious, savory and earthy. The tannins are finer, the acidity higher and there is a sappiness to it that makes it interesting. This will age better than the 2015 IMHO. It needs to rest now for at least 5 years.
