Thursday, September 26, 2019 - This seems a very classic Barbaresco from PdB, unsurprisingly less open than 15, showing a bit simple right now, but the underlying material seems very solid. Sweet floral and cherry notes, figs, earth, touch of heat, with a surprisingly sweet palate and fine tannin that builds on the finish. Compared to the 15 less candied and licoricey, more earthy and a tad brooding. Ignore for another 5yrs.
