Sunday, October 15, 2017 - Double decanted for restaurant ant consumption. No real sediment to speak of. Very floral nose, still significantly tannic and could have done with more air as it clearly evolved in the glass. Dark plum Colour in the glass. Nice depth of flavour (blackberries, violets, herbal notes) but the oak feels a tad too heavy or perhaps it just needs to integrate further (5 more years wouldn't hurt). Long finish. Was paired with a Milanese pork chop.
