Saturday, April 11, 2015 - Pale yellow in color. Great nose - pear, candied citrus, a little grassiness, even some faint stone hiding in there. I also get the canned fruit aromas. Medium mouthfeel at first with citrus and pear flavors, but as it warms up it becomes heavier and tastes suspiciously like a lemon jolly rancher - a war between sugar and acid with the fruit flavors getting squashed in the middle. Long but overly sweet finish and the candy flavors were a little much for me. Get the temperature just right and this is a crowd pleaser.
