Sunday, May 12, 2024 - I finally figured it out… Any time I can’t decide between a Hefeweizen or a Champagne, I reach for Ultramarine. The brats and kraut sparkling wine. The chotomy to my dichotomy.

No more sleepless nights. No more woe-ridden teeth clenching. No more, “Where does Ultramarine fit in to my cellar identity and how do I compartmentalize it in a way that doesn’t betray my allegiance to the cherished Champ?!”

Thanks Ultramarine; the Alka-seltzer of my wine anxieties.

5/13/2024 8:54:00 AM - @DQ - … If brats aren’t your thing, perhaps a chips and salsa kind of beer/wine sparkler dealio. Cristal2000 can get down with that. I’ve seen him destroy a 3LB. sack of Doritos in one sitting. A perfect Ultramarine pairing!

5/13/2024 8:55:00 AM - I debated between a champ and a blue moon with my freshly caught fish taco dinner, but went the beer route. Ultrmarine would've been a good choice though, if I had anymore.

5/13/2024 9:20:00 AM - We're going to tell Cristal that he's coming for a Lafleur/Cheval/Margaux tasting and it is going to be a Carter/Bevan/Maybach tasting instead.

Why do I get a sense that our palates are going across the pond? All I hear is Cristal talking about Petrus and Lafleur; never Screagle or Fairest Creature. And for SIMM, we know he went all in on white burg and champ a while ago.
