Tuesday, May 7, 2024 - Tightest cork ever, which came out, with some elbow grease, in pristine condition. Given a two hour decant and consumed over a couple of days. Looks its age in the glass with a mid garnet core and rusty rim. This beauty offers up dried cherries, red berries, cherry stone, florals, earthiness and some sous bois. Plenty of mouth counting minerals and some powdery tannic grip at the finish. Balanced and lithe. Lovely stuff.
