Tuesday, April 9, 2024 - On opening, the wine was so severely reduced that I opened another bottle of a different wine. The wine demonstrated black fruits, black cherry, blackberry and black current. I appreciate the comments about tobacco nuances. At 24 hours, the wine was remarkably more pleasant. Pure cab franc, good ripeness, fine boned structure and quite enjoyable. The tannins were fine and the acids were ripe. Quite user friendly, but not a “pop and gulp” bottle at present.
